The Senate passed it — now urge the House to act.
I'm writing again because sea turtles need your support.

The Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act passed the Senate in March with bipartisan support. That's a major milestone. But if the House doesn't act before the end of this year, we start over.

Sea turtles are already under enormous pressure—cold-stunning events on the East Coast have left thousands stranded, and without funded rescue and rehabilitation facilities, many won't survive. This legislation would change that. It already has momentum. What it needs now is your Representative's support.

Please send a letter to your Representative today urging them to co-sponsor and pass the Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act (H.R. 347 / S. 843).

Your voice can get this across the finish line.

WE STAND FOR WILDLIFE
Sea Turtle
We’re making great progress on passing the bipartisan Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act. The legislation passed the Senate in March and now we need the House to act.

Please make your voice heard and ask your Representative to co-sponsor and urge this important legislation to pass before the end of this year to ensure that sick and injured sea turtles get the rehabilitation they need.

Endangered sea turtles face growing threats from human activity, including entanglement in fishing gear, plastic pollution, boat strikes, and nesting habitat loss. Cold-stunning events on the East Coast have left thousands stranded and unable to survive without rescue—and these events are increasing.

Right now, Congress has the opportunity to provide critical funding for the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured sea turtles. But we need your voice to make it happen.

The bipartisan Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act (H.R. 347 / S. 843) would update an existing federal grant program to support organizations responding to and caring for threatened and endangered sea turtles. Will you help? It takes less than a minute.

SEND A LETTER TO CONGRESS
Every year, sick and injured sea turtles are rescued thanks to the dedication of federally permitted facilities across the country. Passing this legislation will help sustain their efforts and strengthen conservation research, protecting sea turtles for generations to come.

Please urge your Representative to co-sponsor and support the Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act. Your voice could be what gets this across the finish line.

Thank you for speaking up for wildlife at this critical moment.

With gratitude,
