Summer is upon us, and it’s no secret that a busier social calendar makes it harder to keep costs under control. But with a little planning and a dose of creativity, you can find ways to enjoy yourself without the spending. Breaks, backhands and berries

This week marked the start of Wimbledon, so we’re serving some facts about the world’s oldest tennis tournament:

Since 1922, only eight championships have passed without summer rain.

The longest game in Wimbledon history was in 2010 between Nicolas Mahut and John Isner. It lasted just over 11 hours and 123 balls were used during play.

Bright yellow balls weren’t always at Wimbledon - games had white ones until 1986.
