Isn't it annoying when your blush disappears before noon? I've been playing around with something that really works, and I wanted to share it… since Evelyn doesn’t wear makeup and doesn’t appreciate the value of this tip.
After you've applied your foundation, concealer, and a light dusting of powder, take the tiniest dab of the Overnight Hydration Masque, or Condition Rainforest Balm, or Resilience Balm and press it gently onto your cheekbones. Spread it exactly where you want your blush to land. Then apply your blush right on top.
That's it. Blush stays put. Works with either cream or powder.
Why it works: Powder alone creates a smooth, low-friction surface that gives blush nothing to grip. A micro-thin layer of balm gives it just enough texture and emollient to grip the pigment and keep it in place without disturbing your base.
A few notes from my own experience: you really do want a dab, not a swipe. Warm it between your fingers first so it melts into skin rather than sitting on top. A little goes a long way, and too much will make you shine when what you’re going for is luminous.
That’s it. Now get out there and glow, glow, glow.
You’re welcome.
