Today News 12 NJ featured KAHINDO — and it reminded me why I started.

Nine years ago, I built a brand rooted in one belief: fashion could be a force for economic justice. Today, the women artisans I work with — many of them single mothers — are selling at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. Their work is on a global stage.

Now I'm a finalist in the Entrepreneur of Impact competition, competing for a $25,000 grant and mentorship from Daymond John. Public voting is open through May.
