Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share an honest update.

I didn’t make it to the quarterfinals of the Entrepreneur of Impact competition. I’ll be truthful — that was difficult to process after how much heart and energy went into the journey.

But what this experience gave me was something incredibly valuable: perspective.

Some people I expected to support me didn’t. And while that was hard at first, it became an important lesson. Community reveals itself in moments like these — and I discovered just how many people truly believe in me and in KAHINDO.

Your votes, messages, encouragement, and generosity reminded me why I started this brand: to create opportunity, celebrate culture, and empower women through fashion.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who showed up.

This competition may have ended, but the mission continues — stronger, clearer, and more focused than ever.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.

With gratitude,

Kahindo Mateene
