I designed the Botanical Gardens print a few years ago and it's still one of my favourites. I have the cushions in my own home and chose it to decorate the windows of our first ever standalone store. I have the silk pyjamas too, they are my "fancy pyjamas", the ones I bring with me to hotel stays or when I'm visiting friends overnight. I kept thinking about how much I wanted a crisp cotton set for the Summer, so I added the design to the collection as I thought maybe other people might feel the same way.
Why do I feel so guilty about bringing a design back? Maybe it's because I always feel like I should be making better work. Maybe it's the industry, that constant push for newness. New season, new drop, new everything. But this print holds memories for me and some things deserve to stay. And I suppose this brand is about making special things that can be treasured for a long time. So I'm re-releasing it anyway, because I still love it, and that feels like a good enough reason. 🤍
