We’ve been working on something quietly.
If you’ve followed Keeps for a while, you know our headboards have lived in two worlds:
- wall-mounted, or
- freestanding for renters and flexible spaces.
Both solved a problem, but neither felt like the final answer. So we kept working.

This is an early look at a new headboard design for our strap and bolted beds, one that attaches directly to the bed frame itself.
No wall mounting. No separate stand. Just a simple, integrated structure that moves as easily as the bed does.

The design uses two solid oak supports that bolt into the frame, allowing the headboard to sit cleanly in place.
Same materials, same organic finish, same attention to detail that you expect from Keeps, but a more seamless way to bring it all together.
It assembles quickly. It comes apart just as easily when you move. And it’s built to grow with you, not stay fixed to one space.

We’re not officially launching this yet.
Instead, we’re opening a small beta test (something we like to do when a design feels ready, but still worth experiencing in real homes before it’s widely available).
