I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how becoming a mom changes your perspective.
You start to notice all the things you never thought twice about before—the early mornings, the mental checklists, the way you’re always thinking about someone else first.
And truthfully, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Being a mom is one of the most meaningful parts of my life. And I’ve learned that taking a moment for myself doesn’t take away from that. It actually helps me show up better.
Because you deserve that care, too. Not someday, but right in the middle of real life.
For me, it’s the smallest rituals that make the biggest difference: a quiet shower, an extra minute to do my hair, a scent I love.
So for Mother’s Day, I wanted to share a few of the things I personally reach for when I need that reset:
If you’re a mom, I hope you take a few minutes for yourself today. You deserve it!
And if you’re celebrating one, this is your sign to give her something she’ll truly enjoy.
Happy Mother’s Day!
