As we reflect on this year, we are especially thankful for the Chef Corps members who help make World Central Kitchen more nimble and more rooted in the communities we serve.


Who is the Chef Corps?


The Chef Corps is a network of more than 550 culinary leaders who stand ready to help WCK get cooking as quickly as possible if a disaster strikes in their region.


Chefs are often the most trusted and connected people in their communities, and they bring a deep understanding of local culture and food traditions. Their leadership helps us serve families with care and dignity, and accelerates what we can accomplish when we arrive on the frontlines. This year, Chef Corps members played a leading role in our responses everywhere from Los Angeles and Alaska to the Philippines, Spain, and Jamaica.


In addition to supporting our relief work, Chef Corps members are also ambassadors of our mission. Much like you, they share why they believe in WCK, encourage others to get involved, and show up for us time and time again through their voices, their networks, and their generosity.
