Heading in to a perfectly idyllic Fall weekend, and we're here with a little Saturday morning musing energy. We are right in the midst of our anniversary celebrations, still reveling in the residual joy radiating from our Equinox market — please enjoy this incredible playlist put together by our friends at Piccolo to transport yourselves right back into the feeling — and continuing to offer very special free gifts with purchase through next Friday! If you're still in pondering mode and wondering what might be exactly the right piece for you, readying yourself to take the leap, we've gathered valuable insights from the experts. The Lindquist team is ready to share notes on all our favorites: what we carry and what we covet, how we anoint and style ourselves, why these objects stay with us always.

And now, without further ado ...

Lindy, Creative Director
My daily bag right now is the
Eggi in Brick Vachetta. I of course love all the Eggi equally, but I've had this one in Brick for a few seasons and it has a perfectly warm patina, and as the air turns slightly cooler I find gravitate towards it. I’m opting for a lot of more casual, athletic looks right now, really lusting after some Sayaka Davis silk track pants to pair with my clean white oversized button up I got at Judith Maine. My next must-have  is a Black Savoie — I've made it known to all that I think this latest edition is entirely beautiful and I absolutely need one. Honestly the fact that I don’t have one yet is a little absurd,  as it’s my favorite bag in the collection. Inspired by my forever muse, Charlotte Perriand, I am always dreaming of being in the alps.

My
Big Ama in Black is my daily vessel. As a work bag, it comfortably carries my laptop, water bottle, snacks, and current read; while at home or in daily life, it is my treasure stash. The bottom of the bag is a pool of collectibles, including rocks, shells, and little notes. I always have a Faba tucked in there too, holding my phone and wallet for the on-the-go moments. One style I am really feeling forward drawn toward right now is the Eggi in a new, yet-to-be-seen green. It is the turtle-belly green that my soul craves! We have had some really great friends come through the studio lately, and I am particularly loving my new Samet plaid suit, especially when paired with my Savoie in Chartreuse and Carla Colour sunglasses.

Kate, Studio Manager
I got myself a
Mezzo in Vachetta before a trip last Spring, which was a slightly surprising choice for me but also exactly right. It has this really nice sculpted volume, is ideal for travel and chasing a wild child, and looks even better when accidentally sprayed by the garden hose. We've had a few more than usual occasions to dress up in the last month, and I found I kept picking up the Segui in Butter to complete these looks. Illusive, I know! Now that my love for Segui is cemented, I'm realizing that the Black Scalloped version is probably perfect to pair with my cold weather studio uniform of Cordera wooly vest and Rachel Comey acid washed jeans. Also if you have yet to discover the Living Libations Hooray Hand Creme, that's fine because I will gladly purchase all that we have in stock to be ready to winter.

It's hard for me to imagine a time before
Faba, because where did I even put any of my stuff? Did I leave the house, did I have a way to close my jackets that don't zip up, did I lose my keys more than I do now? When I say I only take the Faba off my body to sleep or swim (or I guess to put it in my Ama), I mean it. You can coach a soccer team, you can deliver wine, you can collect rocks while you walk the dog, you can drive everyone to the birthday party, you can rollerblade at the party... and now you know all my plans for the weekend.  Also of note, Faba looks good with actually everything I care to wear, which today is a crisp Kas Maria shirt and the Fay Andrada silver chain that has redefined my identity as a put together adult. I'm starting to pick out holiday gifts (because I love nothing more than opening a closet in late November and finding I've already squirreled away treasures): Mini Fabas, Living Libations serums and balms and Sisters Body Hand Wash are all high on the list.

I love my
Lee in Black and I use it everyday. She is just perfect—slouchy, but she still stands up. She contains multitudes. In fact, I am Lee. It can be a nesting space for so many little containers for perfect organization. It is utilitarian and elegant, which speaks directly to my Virgo stellium.  I am particularly enamored with green because it's the color of the heart chakra, so I am naturally drawn to Pine (and another secret upcoming color on the green spectrum). I dream of a Mezzo in one of those greens... or, honestly, maybe another Lee. In general you'll find me working at the studio in my Meals pants and Hokas, probably with just a little added glam from Keane earrings.

Pal and Faba in Black have been my go to pieces for years, but as soon as we started making the Anni in Vachetta I knew I needed one. I have to admit that I still have it stored safely away in it's dust bag, and I keep thinking about when I'll wear it for the first time. I think I'm a little nervous! It's so so beautiful. Lately in the studio I've been most excited for the array of brilliant Mini Faba — it's really fun to see all the colors from past and present seasons coexisting. And I also deeply love the Living Libations Best Skin Ever in Sandalwood, I don't think anything has ever smelled better.
Lou, Drag Knife Operator & Painter
I love all my Lindquist pieces, but I have a
Cyl that has been all over the world with me and it's truly the best. It's aging beautifully, carries everything I need and I get compliments wherever I go. I've also now gifted a Braided Belt to every member of my family to match my own, so that is a clear favorite. One of my roles is to organize and manage the scraps and off-cuts of leather at our studio, and truly nothing makes me happier than being able to find a place for these miscellaneous pieces to be as resource conscious as possible. Our recent color-block projects and the Mini Faba are a perfect use of this leather, and it's been such a delight to comb through the archives of leather we have saved and find sections of hide in Ultraviolet and Solar and Grass and Lavender that we can use to make these fun editions.
