| | Angels Science of Baseball Field Trip, presented by Toyota | | On November 18, the Angels Baseball Foundation and Toyota teamed up to host a day of fun-filled activities for over 450 local students at Angel Stadium! Students were introduced to themes that intersect the game of baseball with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) lessons. Through interactive and hands-on learning experiences, the students gained valuable insights into how STEM concepts are used on the baseball field and in everyday life. The event aims to inspire students to explore the world of science and math and gain a new appreciation of the game of baseball. | | | | | | Smiles All Around: Dental Care Clinic at Angel Stadium | | The Angels Baseball Foundation partnered with non-profit organization TeamSmile and local dental organizations to provide a free dental clinic for over 250 underserved kids from Anaheim elementary schools. Kids received about $100,000 in free dental care at Angel Stadium, with services such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions for children in need. The event provided kids with access to necessary dental care in a positive environment, giving them a reason to keep on smiling! | | | | | | Career Lab, in partnership with Alliance: Los Angeles | | Angels Baseball invited 30 high school students from ICEF View Park High School (Los Angeles) to Angel Stadium for an inside look at the sports business through a stadium tour and panel discussion. The Angels and Play Equity Fund joined together on the panel to address educational opportunities, career pathways, and important issues facing communities of color as they answered questions to help the students prepare for their future careers. Thank you for joining us at Angel Stadium, ICEF View Park students! | | | | | | Inland Empire Youth Baseball Clinics | | The Angels Baseball Foundation expanded their youth baseball efforts this season to the Inland Empire, reaching over 3,700 students across 16 schools. The free clinic events serviced Inland Empire youth into the fall, where many participants were able to experience baseball for the first time. Kids rotated through introductory skill stations focused on throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding and played games suitable for all ages and grade levels. In addition to the new baseball skillsets and fun experiences with friends, all students in attendance also received a free Angels hat! | | | | | | Angels Scholars: Where Are They Now? | | With the support of the Angels College Scholarship, Alexis Rodriguez Mejia became the first person in his family to attend college. Beyond the financial support, the scholarship connected him to a community of peers who shared and understood his experiences. This inspired him to mentor other first-generation college students throughout his four years at Harvard College. Alexis graduated with honors from Harvard in 2023, with a degree in Government and a minor in History. He also earned the Lowell Pechet Fellowship and Houston Award, which is granted to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and commitment to service. Currently, he works as a Conflict Analyst at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where he conducts complex corporate research and conflict analysis for high-stakes legal cases. We look forward to seeing Alexis achieve his goal of becoming a trial court judge and are confident he will have a meaningful impact on society. | | | | | | Get a Jump on Holiday Shopping with an Angels Brick! | | Ever dreamed of having your own permanent fixture at Angel Stadium?
