In collaboration with the Angels Baseball Foundation, the Kids Heart Challenge and the American Heart Association offer service-learning-based fundraising programs which empower students to make a positive impact on their own lives while helping others. Participants, including students, families, and staff, gain valuable life skills such as making smart food choices, understanding the importance of avoiding vaping and tobacco, and learning the lifesaving technique of Hands-Only CPR. | | | |  | | Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley Awards Angels Baseball Foundation | | This month, the Angels Baseball Foundation was honored with the Corporate Partnership Award from the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley. The recognition celebrates a long-standing partnership focused on creating meaningful experiences for local youth and supporting the Club’s mission throughout the year. In 2025, the Angels welcomed 200 Club members to a summer Angels game through the Community Ticket Program, provided school supplies and Angels gear at its annual Back 2 School event, and hosted families for an unforgettable celebration at the Angels Kids Holiday Party. The Foundation also continued its support of the Club’s major fundraising events, including its golf tournament and annual gala. We are grateful for this recognition and proud to stand alongside the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley in serving the young people of our community. | | | |  | | Angels Scholars Luncheon at UC Irvine | | On January 29th, the Angels Scholarship Committee visited UC Irvine (UCI) for an inspiring afternoon with Angels Scholars and staff from the Office of Student Success Initiatives. Lively conversations about scholars’ college experiences were shared during lunch on campus. The informal gathering fostered meaningful relationships and provided scholars with an opportunity to learn about additional resources available to support their academic and career development.
