| | Adopt-A-School, presented by OC Waste & Recycling | | This April, the Angels Baseball Foundation proudly kicked off its 18th year of the Adopt‑A‑School program, presented by OC Waste & Recycling. The first two visits began with high‑energy, school-wide assemblies recognizing each school’s commitment to sustainability, environmental education, and positive campus culture. Students were celebrated and surprised by Angels players Jack Kochanowicz at Gauer Elementary and Ryan Zeferjahn at Carver Elementary. Through the Adopt‑A‑School program, both schools received a $2,000 grant, Angels game tickets for all students and staff, giveaway items, and a commemorative Adopt‑A‑School banner. The visits concluded with a special meet‑and‑greet experience, allowing students to connect one‑on‑one with the player and take home signed Angels hats and unforgettable memories! | | | | | | Lil' Halos T‑Ball League Opening Day | | The Angels Baseball Foundation celebrated Opening Day for the Lil' Halos T‑Ball League on April 11 in partnership with the Anaheim Family YMCA. The six‑week league is designed for children ages 3 to 6 and provides a fun introduction to baseball while teaching key life skills such as teamwork, discipline, consistency, and hard work. Each session includes 35 minutes of skill instruction followed by a three‑inning game. YMCA coaches received training and equipment to support practices and games, helping ensure a positive experience for every participant. The Lil' Halos T‑Ball League continues to grow, serving over 130 participants across Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. All participants received an Angels uniform, team photo, medal, tickets to an Angels home game, and pizza to celebrate! | | | | | | JR42 Clinic, presented by Nike | | On April 15, the Angels Baseball Foundation teamed up with the Anaheim Family YMCA to celebrate Jackie Robinson Day by hosting its 6th annual JR42 Clinic, presented by Nike. The event honored Jackie Robinson’s legacy while giving 100 local kids the opportunity to experience baseball firsthand. Each participant received an Angels hat and a plastic bat and ball set, empowering them to continue playing and enjoying the game beyond the clinic. | | | | | | Angels Nike RBI League Opening Day | On April 25, the Angels Baseball Foundation officially kicked off the 2026 Angels Nike RBI League with Opening Day festivities in Anaheim. The event welcomed young athletes and families to celebrate the start of an eight‑week season centered on baseball skills, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. This year also marks a significant expansion of the Angels Nike RBI program. In addition to growth opportunities through the Anaheim Family YMCA, the Angels Baseball Foundation is expanding the program in teamwork with the City of Santa Ana, allowing the leagues to reach more than 800 young athletes across the community! The expansion continues to remove barriers to play while creating safe, supportive environments for youth to learn and grow through baseball and softball. Participants receive an Angels uniform, tickets to an upcoming Angels home game, and a brand‑new Angels baseball glove through the Masons 4 Mitts initiative.

Through volunteering in local high school Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) classes and contributing to a student resource pilot program, Peyton realized her passion for education and encouraging students to pursue their academic goals.
