Mike Trout has been selected via fan voting to start in the outfield for the American League in the 2026 Major League Baseball All-Star Game! The Midsummer Classic will be played Tuesday, July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, which is approximately 45 miles from Trout's hometown of Millville, NJ.
Trout extends his Angels records with 12 overall All-Star selections and 11 selections via fan voting. He is the third player in American League history to earn at least 11 fan elections with one Club, joining Hall of Famers Cal Ripken Jr. (BAL – 17) and George Brett (KC – 11). In his All-Star Game career, Trout has amassed a .412 average (7/17) with two doubles, one triple, two home runs, four RBI, three walks and four runs scored. He became the first player to win the All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award in consecutive seasons after winning the honors in 2014 and 2015.
Trout will be joined at the 2026 All-Star Game by Angels Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer Eric Munson, who was selected for his first All-Star Game as a member of the American League athletic training staff.
Thank you to everyone who helped us #VoteTrout and congratulations, Mike! |
