Hello Lady Maccas!
As we move into fall and the city’s tempo softens, we sat down with Lina Giselle, a Colombian-Friulian DJ, model, and creative whose energy blends rhythm and sensuality. Known for translating emotion through both sound and style, Lina moves through the world with confidence that feels effortless yet deeply intentional.
We spoke with her about personal style as self-expression, and how Maccapani mirrors the rhythm of her evolving world, from the structured allure of the Hoodess to the ease of the Daisy Moto T and the fluid sensuality of the Monogram Dress.

What do you aim to achieve or express when you dress for the world?
When I get dressed, it’s not just about what looks good, but about how I want to feel. I use fashion to explore myself, to tell little stories through color, texture, and shape.
Each outfit reflects where I am in that moment—curious, focused, or playful—and reminds me that expressing yourself through style is a form of freedom.

Is there a particular item of clothing you’re emotionally attached to?
My oversized brown leather jacket. I remember watching Prada SS22 and instantly falling in love with those incredible jackets. I couldn’t afford one, so I went down a deep Vinted rabbit hole, and after months of searching, I found the one.
It’s become my winter uniform: perfectly balanced between comfort and edge. Every time I wear it, someone asks where it’s from. That’s when I know it’s right.
What kind of Lady Macca do you feel like right now?
Right now, I’m a Lady Macca in transformation. One chapter is closing, and a new one is beginning, with more clarity, grit, and curiosity.
I’m learning to not overthink, to slow down and enjoy the process, to listen to myself more deeply, and to move with intention.

Which Maccapani item is your favorite?
The Hoodess is my favorite. The corset-like silhouette and wide sleeves transform a simple hoodie into something unexpectedly dressy and effortlessly cool.

How do you translate your creative identity into your DJ sets?
My creative identity is deeply rooted in my Latino heritage, and that always finds its way into my sets. The rhythms, energy, and warmth of Latin sounds are part of who I am. Each transition or track choice reflects a layer of that identity—sometimes nostalgic, sometimes bold, but always alive.
How does fashion fit into your life as a DJ and model?
Fashion is another language for me, a way to communicate energy. When I DJ, I like to wear pieces that mirror the sound: sexy, confident, and alive.
The Monogram Dress captures exactly that feeling behind the booth—effortless, sensual, and comfortable all at once.

Would you say your roots play a role in your craft?
Absolutely. My work begins with the need to express my identity as a woman, as Afro-Colombian, and as an immigrant.
I love connecting those parts of myself through music, fashion, and photography, creating an imaginary where all sides coexist honestly and unapologetically.
