Broken In has been living in my head for years — the idea that the fabric for kids' clothes didn't have to be new. That there was perfectly good denim already out there, worn soft by someone else, waiting for a second life. I just needed to find the right partner to make it real.
I found them. And after almost two years of finessing (and waiting out tariffs) we made something I'm genuinely proud of.
Broken In is Jackalo's first collection made entirely from post-consumer denim — rescued fabric that was sorted, cleaned, cut, and sewn into kids' clothes built to take another beating. No new cotton grown. No new fabric woven. Just good material that deserved better than a landfill.
