Hi everyone, it’s Marianna from Jackalo 👋
We hope you’re doing well! I wanted to share something we’re really proud of—and that you’ve actually been a part of without even realizing it.
At Jackalo, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s woven into every decision we make 🌿. Today, we wanted to give you a closer look at our carbon neutral commitment and how we’re working to minimize our environmental footprint 🌎.
Our partnership with SimpliZero helps us carefully assess and offset our carbon footprint across our entire supply chain. Here’s how it works:
- Comprehensive Assessment: SimpliZero analyzes our entire production journey—from where our fabrics originate, how our cotton is grown, where it’s processed and sewn, to how it’s transported to your doorstep.
- Strategic Offsetting: Based on this assessment, we invest in third-party verified carbon offset projects that support long-term climate resilience, including tree planting initiatives, wind farm development, and more.
- Minimizing Output: Beyond offsetting, we actively reduce carbon emissions by co-locating cotton growth, processing, and production facilities to minimize transportation. We also use deadstock fabrics whenever possible, giving new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste.
Being carbon neutral isn’t just about offsetting—it’s about making responsible choices at every stage. When you purchase Jackalo clothing, you’re not just getting durable, high-quality garments; you’re supporting a more sustainable fashion industry. ♻️
We invite you to read more about our sustainability initiatives in our latest blog post: [link to blog post] As always, we welcome your questions and feedback about our environmental practices.
Thanks for being part of this journey with us. Every outfit your kids wear is
built to last, hand-me-down ready, and planet-friendly! 💚
Warmly, The Jackalo Team
