The thousands of children and their families planning to descend on the White House grounds on Monday for the annual Easter Egg Roll will find plenty of brightly colored eggs—and become part of Jonathan Pliska’s running history of the 148-year-old spring tradition.
The research suggests that different types of PFAS compounds can accumulate from the atmosphere and rainwater until the combined effect exceeds U.S. Environmental Protection Agency safety standards.
