Tell the EPA:
Don’t Give Data Centers a Free Pass to Pollute!

Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is trying to make it even easier for data centers to pollute our air and make us sick. A dangerous new proposal from the EPA aims to bypass clean air permitting regulations for building new data centers, giving them a free pass to spew toxic pollution that causes asthma, respiratory illnesses, heart disease, cancer, and other serious health issues.

This proposal is yet another giveaway to corporate polluters, prioritizing profits over the health and safety of families and communities. Public comments are open until June 29th and the EPA needs to hear from you — join LCV in speaking out for the health and safety of our communities!

Tell the EPA: Don’t give data centers a free pass to pollute!

Email,

Data centers are already raising our electricity bills, depleting our water resources, and heating up our communities — and now Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is trying to make it even easier for them to pollute our air and make us sick.

This dangerous proposal would bypass current clean air permitting regulations for building new data centers, giving them a free pass to spew toxic pollution that causes asthma, respiratory illnesses, heart disease, cancer, and other serious health issues.

If finalized, this proposal could allow data centers and other industrial polluters to move forward without the safeguards communities depend on to protect their health and clean air. Children, seniors, and families living closest to these facilities would suffer the greatest health consequences.

Safeguards exist for a reason. Don’t let Trump’s EPA roll back these important protections and sacrifice all our health for another data center.
