Dear Andy,

On this most joyous Resurrection Sunday, I want to shout from the rooftops: Jesus Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed!

 

Take a moment with me to imagine what it was like to be one of Jesus’ followers that first Easter morning.

 

After the crucifixion, they thought all hope was lost. But when the women found the tomb empty, sadness and fear gave way to joy and faith. Jesus’ resurrection changes everything!

 

Praise God, he has “given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3). Alleluia!
