Game 1 at Allianz Field did not disappoint. A shootout at the end of regulation saw the best goalkeeper in the league take full advantage of his chance to shine, with a favor or two from his best friend, the post. Now, with a victory in hand, the Loons are taking the fight to Lumen Field as they look to end the series and make it a perfect four-for-four against the Sounders in 2025.
Meanwhile, the Twos are making headlines in MLS NEXT Pro action this postseason, winning their way to the Western Conference Final match against Rapids 2 this Sunday, November 2. The goal-scoring form of Logan Dorsey has continued to fuel his side throughout this deep run, as have the creative efforts of midfielder star Momoh Kamara. Head Coach Jeremy Hall and the boys will be hoping to extend the season one game longer, and with a trophy in sight, they won’t want to go home empty-handed when it’s all said and
done.
Not a bad postseason to be a Loon, huh?
It’s win or go home for both Seattle and Minnesota on Monday. If the Sounders lose, their season is over. Should the Loons falter, they have the safety net of returning to Allianz Field for Game 3. I love getting extra soccer as much as the next guy, but I think we can all agree that a clean sweep of the Rave Green would be the sweetest way to start the 2025 playoff campaign. Tune into MLS Season Pass, Apple TV+, FS1, or FOX Deportes at 9:55 p.m. CT this Monday to catch the action, or head out to our official
Watch Party at The Loop West End to experience the playoffs with like-minded Loons.
