If you're anything like me, summer has a funny way of changing your routine.
A few more beers in the garden.
A couple more BBQs.
An extra scoop of ice cream because... well, it's summer.
And honestly? That's part of what makes this time of year so great.
The mistake isn't enjoying summer.
The mistake is thinking you have to wait until September to start looking after yourself again.
Health isn't built by being perfect.
It's built by the small things you keep doing, even when life gets a little more relaxed.
Go for the walk.
Eat the protein.
Drink the water.
Get the sleep.
Take your gummies.
Those little decisions compound far more than one indulgent weekend ever will.
One thing I've definitely noticed?
Your gut is usually the first thing to tell you when your routine has drifted.
A few weekends of heavier food.
A couple more drinks than usual.
Less fibre.
Less sleep.
A bit more stress.
Before long, you're feeling bloated, sluggish and just... off.
The good news is you don't need to be perfect.
You just need to get back to the small habits that made you feel good in the first place.
Enjoy the BBQ.
Have the beer.
Live your summer.
Just don't let one great season become three months of neglect.
Have an awesome week,
❤️ The Mojo Team
