Last year, Carmelo's Green Mandarin Kombucha launched with rave reviews, so we absolutely had to bring it back for this festive season.

There were two massive highlights. Our appearance on Saturday Kitchen, and capping that off, two stars in the 2025 Great Taste Awards.

We've had a few appearances on Saturday Kitchen, but this one was particularly memorable. We sent BBC drinks expert Olly Smith a case to try, and he loved it so much that he featured it on the very next episode.

It was a brilliant moment for us. Thanks to the glowing comments from Olly, Matt and the celebrity guests, loads of new people got to try MOMO for the first time. If you're still with us from that show last year - hello, and thank you.

A two-star winner at the 2025 Great Taste Awards.

The Great Taste Awards are the BAFTAs of food and drink, independently judged by the UK's most respected food critics.

It was an enormously proud day for us in the brewery when the 2025 winners were announced: Carmelo's Green Mandarin Kombucha took home two stars, our biggest win to date.

"The judges really enjoyed this highly fragrant kombucha. The flavour of the green mandarin really came through, giving hints of lime, yuzu and mandarin.

You could taste that the kombucha had been properly fermented, giving the drink a distinctive sour complexity.

The finish was really dry and refreshing - we couldn't stop drinking it."

This kombucha uses premium Tardivo di Ciaculli mandarins from Sicily... with a twist. Working with trusted grower Carmelo, Natoora have unearthed a new window of seasonality for this delicious citrus, while the skins are still a lucid green.

On his citrus grove in the foothills of Mount Etna, Carmelo picks his best fruit eight weeks ahead of their typical harvest. At this stage in its growth, the rind is rich with aromatic oils. This fresh zest is the power behind Carmelo's Green Mandarin Kombucha.
