HEJ!
Yesterday Sweden celebrated its National Day — and with it, the unofficial start of the season we wait for all year. For many Swedes, June 6 means more than a date on the calendar. The days are long, the evenings bright, and life begins to move outdoors. Parks fill with picnics, the archipelago boats grow busier, and summer finally arrives in earnest. National Day is rooted in history, but its modern meaning is just as much about community, nature, and the simple joy of slowing down — flags in the breeze, time with family and friends, and the sense that the best weeks of the year have begun. It's a season that makes everyday moments feel special. A walk through the city in the evening sun. Coffee outside. A weekend escape. Shoes made for moving easily between work, celebration, and the quieter days in between. From all of us, we hope you had a happy National Day — and we wish you a beautiful start to summer. Glad sommar.
