Morning There,
The fan is doing its best.
Bless it.
Spinning away in the corner like it has been personally appointed Minister for Sleep.
But some nights are still just too warm.
The pillow has a warm side and a warmer side.
The sheet feels like wearing a jumper in a sauna.
You open the window.
A moth arrives.
You close the window.
Immediate regret.
And then the mind starts.
“Did I reply to that email?”
“Why did I say that thing in 2014?”
“How many hours will I get if I fall asleep right now?”
The worst maths exam in the world.
I think this is what makes hot sleep so frustrating.
It is not just the heat.
It is the way heat makes everything feel slightly less settled.
Your body is trying to cool down.
Your mind is trying to switch off.
Meanwhile, the bedroom is behaving like a small greenhouse.
And it looks like next week is warming up again too.
So keep it simple.
Close the curtains earlier in the day.
Open the windows when the air outside is finally cooler.
Have something cold to drink.
Run cool water over your wrists or neck.
Eat a little earlier if you can.
Go easy on alcohol.
Avoid caffeine too late.
Just give your body a better chance.
That is also where Hypnos Capsules make sense.
Hot days can take more out of you than you realise.
Not just physically.
Mentally too.
Hypnos Capsules combine magnesium, L-theanine and calming botanicals to give your body a little support before bed.
That combination works especially well on hot nights.
Becasue it supports the nervous system when your body is already working harder to cool itself down.
Two capsules with water.
No hot drink to make.
No sugar.
No gummies (you’re smarter than that!)
If you need them, they are here.
Kia Kaha and love,
Chris Xx
P.S. Please do freeze your pillows!
P.P.S If they don't help with sleep - we will give your money back Xx
