Hey you,

My phone has been screaming at me all week:

50% OFF! LAST CHANCE! HURRY! DON'T MISS OUT!

And honestly? It gives me anxiety just looking at it.

You aren’t going to see that from us today.

In fact, seeing all that noise made me sit down and ask myself:

Why did I start this?

No Ordinary Moments wasn’t born in a boardroom. There were no whiteboards full of KPIs. No investor decks.

It started with me. Completely burnt out.

I was wired and tired. Anxious. Inflamed.

I couldn’t sleep or think straight.

So I went looking.

Not to create a product, but for a solution.

I researched. I tested. I brewed weird-tasting mushrooms in my kitchen.

I was my own guinea pig for nearly ten years.

Eventually… things started to shift.

Not overnight. Not magically.

But the right ingredients, in the right combinations, done consistently? They worked.

That’s where this all began.

With a younger version of me who just wanted to feel better.

So, when it came time to build this brand?

I wanted to make things that actually helped.

Things I could stand behind. Things I could take every single day and be proud to share with people I love.

Here’s something most people don’t know:

In this industry, it’s shockingly easy to make something cheap look premium.

You load it with sweeteners like stevia or coconut sugar.

Add “natural flavours” (which are often anything but).

Use gums and fillers to bulk it out.

Throw in just enough “hero” ingredients to slap on the label.

And voilà — you’ve got something that costs 30–40% less to make.

So you can slash your prices come Black Friday and still turn a tidy profit.

But what’s actually in the bag? Not much.

Most of it is just sugar, filler, thickeners - going into your body :(

We can’t slap 20, 30, 40!! % off our prices this week.

Because we didn’t build our product with cheap ingredients.

We built it with:

So this Black Friday, like every Black Friday, we say:

No, thanks. We can’t play that game.

But thank you for being part of this.

Thank you for trusting us.

Thank you for getting it.

And maybe when everyone is trying to capture your attention, it's time to put the phone away, step outside, and breathe.

Have the best weekend!

Kia Kaha & much love always,
Chris x
