Men's Golf Caps Off Season on High Note, Winning National Golf Invitational |
The men's golf team ended its 2025 season in dominant fashion, capturing the National Golf Invitational title at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Arizona. The Buckeyes used an 8-under 280 final round to pull away from Utah State and secure a seven-shot victory. Joe Wilson IV capped off his comeback season with a career-best finish, tying for third at 8-under par, while freshman Timotej Formanek finished sixth at 7-under par in his best collegiate showing. Fellow freshman Vaughn Harber finished seventh after leading the team with 18 birdies and posting a team-best 69 in the final round.
This marked Ohio State’s third win in the last four tournaments to close out the season. With momentum surging and young talent thriving, the Buckeyes now turn their focus to next season, and a potential return to an NCAA Regional at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in 2026. |

Baseball Ends Season with Senior Day Walk-Off Win |
The baseball team closed out its 2025 campaign in thrilling fashion, securing an 11-10 walk-off win over Illinois. Powered by home runs from Ryan Miller and Nick Giamarusti, and a clutch, game-winning double from Tyler Pettorini, the Buckeyes battled back from multiple deficits to secure the victory. Maddix Simpson tallied a career-high four RBIs, while Gavin Kuzniewski struck out a career-high five Illini batters in five innings of work.

| | Jasmyn Burns & Coaching Staff Earn Softball America Postseason Honors |
The softball program collected a pair of postseason awards as Jasmyn Burns was recognized as a Second Team All-American while the Buckeye coaching staff was named the Coaching Staff of the Year by Softball America. Burns, a unanimous first team All-Big Ten selection, hit .455 with a Big Ten-record 25 home runs and 72 RBIs. In her first year, head coach Kirin Kumar led Ohio State to 45 wins and an NCAA Regional appearance.

Women's Hockey Announces 2025-26 Schedule |
The women's hockey team's 2025-26 schedule has been set, head coach Nadine Muzerall announced today. The Buckeyes will start the year on Sept. 20 with an exhibition game against Durham before officially opening the 2025-26 campaign on Oct. 3-4 at Colgate. Ohio State's first home series of the season is set for Oct. 10-11 vs. Bemidji State at the Ohio State Ice Rink. Tickets for the upcoming women's hockey season will go on sale Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. ET.

Men's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule |
The reigning Big Ten regular season and tournament champions will open their 2025 campaign with an exhibition vs. Notre Dame on Aug. 9 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The regular season begins on the road at Virginia Tech Aug. 21, with the home opener set for Aug. 28 against Oakland as part of the annual Wolstein Classic. The Buckeyes will also host Temple, Akron and Louisville in non-conference play before Big Ten action begins on Sept. 19 at Michigan State.

Men's Track & Field Closes Big Ten Championships with 4x400m Title |
The track and field program closed out three days of competition at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with 14 personal record breaks, six top five finishes and an event title in the men's 4x400m relay. The men's 4x400m relay team consisting of Noah Carmichael, Mason Louis, Braxton Brann and Edidiong Udo claimed the title and their spot on the All-Big Ten First Team behind a season-best 3:04.08. Other noteworthy performances for the men included DJ Fillmore's second place finish in the long jump (personal best 7.68m) and Udo's third place finish in the 400m (45.78). On the women's side, the 4x100m relay team comprised of Leah Bertrand, Bobbi Olive, Fatuma Conde and Jane Spencer placed third with a season-best 43.84.
Up next, the Buckeyes turn their focus to NCAA postseason action as the team will head to Jacksonville, Fla., for the NCAA East First Round beginning Wednesday, May 28, with national championship bids on the line. |
