No. 3 Football Meets No. 1 Texas Saturday in Ohio Stadium

The 136th season of Ohio State football kicks off this Saturday when the No. 3 Buckeyes take on the No. 1 Texas Longhorns at noon inside Ohio Stadium. Saturday's season opener comes just 232 days after the Buckeyes and Longhorns met in the 2024 College Football Playoff semifinals where DE Jack Sawyer's 83-yard fumble return sealed a 28-14 Ohio State victory. Buckeye fans are encouraged to WEAR SCARLET and arrive early to not miss out on all the pregame festivities including a stadium-wide THE rally towel giveaway, the 2024 national championship banner unveiling, Archie Griffin ringing the Victory Bell, Lee Corso's final headgear pick and much more!

Saturday's highly anticipated home opener against the Longhorns will be broadcast on FOX and will feature the ESPN College GameDay and FOX Big Noon Kickoff pregame sets outside the stadium starting at 9 a.m.

B1G Releases 2025-26 Men's Hockey Schedule

The 2025-26 men's hockey schedule is officially set following the release of the Big Ten Conference slate late last week. The Buckeyes' 34-game campaign with feature 17 games at the Schottenstein Center including the home opening series on Oct. 10-11 against Northern Michigan. The Big Ten portion of the season will begin on Oct. 30-31 when Ohio State faces off against Penn State. Puck drop for non-televised home games will be scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The broadcast schedule and all games times will be announced in the coming weeks.

Season tickets are on sale now with mini plan options and single game tickets going on sale next month. For more information on ticket options, fans can fill out the Ticket Interest Form.
