No. 1 Football Defeats Washington on Road, Hosts Homecoming vs. Minnesota

Head coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes headed to Seattle for their first road game of the season and returned from the Pacific Northwest with a 24-6 victory over Washington, snapping the Huskies' 22-game home winning streak. The Ohio State defense was dominant yet again holding their opponent to single-digits on the scoreboard for the fourth consecutive game. Caden Curry and Kayden McDonald led the way for the Scarlet and Gray combining for 18 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, five sacks and limiting the Huskies' rushing attack to just 61 yards. 

This weekend, the Buckeyes are back in action inside The 'Shoe when they host the Minnesota Golden Gophers (3-1) under the lights for the annual Homecoming and Hall of Fame game. Kickoff against the Golden Gophers is set for 7:30 p.m.

Field Hockey Prepares for B1G Matchups vs. No. 11 Maryland & Penn State

Following a five-game East Coast road swing including wins over Northeastern (2-0) and Delaware (4-0), the field hockey team returns to action at Buckeye Varsity Field this weekend for a pair of Big Ten Conference matchups. The Buckeyes will open the weekend on Friday afternoon against No. 11 Maryland at 3 p.m. for the team's Pride and Faculty/Staff Appreciation game. Arrive early because the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a $10 voucher to use at the Hot Dog Wally's food truck at the game.

The Buckeyes will close out the weekend on Sunday when they take on the Penn State Nittany Lions for Alumni Day. All fans in attendance at Sunday's game can enter for their chance to win $100 gift cards to the Ohio State Team Shop, Cane's, Chick-fil-A and more!
