No. 1 Football Returns to The 'Shoe Saturday for Noon Kick vs. Penn State

After a month of road games and bye weeks, Ryan Day and the No. 1 Buckeyes return home to Ohio Stadium to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions for a noon kickoff. The last time out, defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and the Silver Bullets held Wisconsin to 95 rushing yards, 49 passing yards and zero points — the sixth time this season an opponent has been held to under 10 points. Heading into this weekend's matchup, Ohio State leads the Nittany Lions in the all-time series, 25-14. 

All fans are encouraged to arrive early for a special pregame show featuring TBDBITL's ramp entrance, the incomparable Script Ohio, an exciting Brutus entrance and to watch as national champion and College Football Hall of Fame coach Urban Meyer rings the Victory Bell ahead of kick. And, don't forget to WEAR BLACK!

Men's Basketball Opens 2025-26 Season Monday vs. IU Indy

Head coach Jake Diebler and the men's basketball team closed out their preseason prep over the weekend when the Buckeyes defeated the Ohio Bobcats, 103-74, in an exhibition at the Schottenstein Center. Seven Buckeyes recorded double-digit points, leading the charge was the two newest members of Ohio State's front court in Brandon Noel and Christoph Tilly who finished the day with 18 and 14 points, respectively. As a team the Buckeyes forced 16 turnovers and assisted on 26 of their 35 made field goals. 

The Scarlet and Gray will open the 2025-26 season on Monday, Nov. 3 when the Buckeyes take on the IU Indy Jaguars for a 6:30 p.m. tip at the Schott. Ohio State will unveil its new Scarlet and Gray court with the first 1,500 fans in attendance receiving a replica mini court showcasing the new Block O and Script Buckeyes mid-court logos.
