No. 2 Wrestling Improves to 11-0, Opens B1G Action Sunday vs. No. 23 Indiana

The No. 2 wrestling team closed out its non-conference slate on Sunday afternoon in dominant fashion, rolling past Oregon State 41-3 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore., to improve to 11-0 on the season. The Buckeyes jumped out to an early 24-0 lead through five bouts including a pair of technical falls by Nic Bouzakis (125) and Ben Davino (133) in addition to a 55 second pin by Brandon Cannon (157) in the first period. The Scarlet and Gray went on to win four of the five remaining bouts, allowing just one takedown throughout the entire dual.

Up next, the No. 2 Buckeyes will turn their attention to Big Ten action as they open conference play this weekend (Sunday, Jan. 11) against No. 23 Indiana at the Covelli Center. Sunday's action against the Hoosiers is set for 1 p.m.

No. 21 Women's Gymnastics Opens 2026 Season Saturday vs. No. 12 Georgia

Head coach Meredith Paulicivic and the No. 21 Ohio State women's gymnastics team will open the 2026 season this weekend (Saturday, Jan. 10) when the Buckeyes host the No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs at the Covelli Center. The Buckeyes are led by fifth year Tory Vetter who competed in every meet last season in the all-around and earned First Team All-Big Ten honors for the second time in her career after hitting a 9.900 or higher on every event last season, with career-high marks of 9.950 on floor, 9.925 on bars and 9.900 on vault and beam. The Scarlet and Gray are coming off their fifth consecutive season with an NCAA Tournament appearance. Saturday's meet against the Bulldogs is set to begin at 4 p.m.
