No. 8 Men's Hockey Hosts No. 11 Michigan in Regular Season Finale

The men's hockey team returns to the Schottenstein Center tomorrow night as the Buckeyes wrap up the 2024-25 regular season with a two-game series against the No. 11 Michigan Wolverines. Tomorrow's puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m. while game two on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m. Ohio State enters the rivalry series in third place in the Big Ten with 40 points and has secured a top three seed for the Big Ten Tournament while the Wolverines sit in fourth place with 32 points.

Limited lower level seats remain for this week's series so be sure to secure your seat at the Schott now and don't miss when The Greatest Rivalry in Sports hits the ice! All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear SCARLET!

Men's Lacrosse Stuns No. 12 Virginia

The men's lacrosse team secured a massive non-conference victory and extended its win streak to five after upsetting No. 12 Virginia by a score of 14-5. Shane O'Leary and Ryan Donnery led the Buckeyes' attack each scoring three goals while Garrett Haas and Griffin Turner provided insurance by tallying two goals apiece. A dominant Ohio State defense was on full display as well forcing 21 Cavalier turnovers while goalie Caleb Fyock stood tall in net recording a season-high 12 saves.

Baseball Upsets No. 12 NC State for First Win of the Justin Haire Era

First-year head coach Justin Haire and the baseball team picked up the first win of the season defeating No. 12 NC State, 8-3, at the Jax College Baseball Classic. Second baseman Lee Ellis broke a 3-3 tie in the fifth inning with a two-run homer before Ohio State went on to extend its lead with additional runs in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings. Four Buckeyes combined for six strikeouts while Hunter Shaw picked up the win in relief.

Softball Completes 4-0 Weekend Trip to Florida

The softball team returned to Columbus following a successful weekend in Florida where the Buckeyes went 4-0 with wins over Cornell (15-0), Siena (6-4), North Florida (6-4) and UCF (7-3). The Buckeye bats exploded for 34 runs and 14 homers throughout the weekend, led by Kaitlyn Farley, Kami Kortokrax and Jasmyn Burns who each made three trips or more around the bases. Ohio State hits the road again this weekend for five games at the Bulldog Classic in Athens, Ga.

No. 2 Women's Hockey Sweeps No. 11 St. Cloud State in Regular Season Finale

The women's hockey team closed out the 2024-25 regular season with a pair of wins over No. 11 St. Cloud State for its eighth series sweep of the year. Jocelyn Amos' hat trick on Friday night helped the Buckeyes secure the 5-3 game one victory before closing out the series on Saturday behind a late third period goal by Makenna Webster. Goalie Amanda Thiele picked up both wins over the weekend with 27 total saves.

No. 9 Women's Tennis Shuts Out No. 16 Oklahoma State

The women's tennis team closed out its non-conference schedule on Sunday with a 4-0 victory over No. 16 Oklahoma State to improve to 6-1 on the season. The Buckeye duo of Audrey Spencer and Nao Nishino opened the day with a 6-0 win over the Cowgirls' No. 73 ranked duo. The remaining three points were picked up by Spencer, Luciana Perry and Shelly Bereznyak each taking their singles match in two sets.

Women's Basketball Posts Largest Home B1G Win

The women's basketball team put an exclamation point on its Senior Day celebration downing Purdue by a 98-46 margin. Five Buckeyes finished with double figures with Chance Gray leading the charge with 21 points including five shots from beyond the arc. Ohio State's defense was also dominant forcing 21 turnovers and securing 35 defensive rebounds. The 52-point victory now stands as the largest home Big Ten win in program history. 

Women's Swim & Dive Wins Big Ten Championship

For the fifth time in six years, the Ohio State women's swim and dive team is the champion of the Big Ten! The Buckeyes claimed their 10th conference title over the weekend at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion after totaling 1,313.5 points and winning 11 total medals (two gold, four silver, five bronze) after four days of competition at their home pool. Ohio State's individual event championships were claimed by Lena Hentschel in 1-meter diving (328.75) and Sienna Angove in the 400 individual medley (4:03.92).

Next up for the Buckeyes is the Last Chance Meet on March 9, NCAA Zone Diving at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on March 10-12 and the NCAA Championships in Washington on March 26-29.
