Men's Hoops Heads East for Maryland Matchup, Home Sunday vs. Michigan

Head coach Jake Diebler and the men's basketball team will open its February gauntlet, which features seven games in a span of 21 days, tomorrow night when the Buckeyes head east for a matchup against Maryland (8-13). Ohio State's February slate will feature three additional games on the road against No. 18 Virginia, No. 10 Michigan State and Iowa as well as a trio of home games against No. 2 Michigan, USC and Wisconsin. Tomorrow's game against the Terrapins will tip off at 8:30 p.m. on FS1.

This weekend, The Greatest Rivalry in Sports returns to the Schottenstein Center when the Buckeyes battle the No. 2 Wolverines at 1 p.m. Tickets are still available for as low as $21 and all fans in attendance are encouraged to WEAR SCARLET as we Scarlet the Schott for Sunday's rivalry matchup.

No. 2 Wrestling Dominates No. 13 Michigan, Hosts No. 5 Iowa Friday Night

The No. 2 wrestling team extended its win streak to 16 this past weekend with a pair of top 25 wins, defeating No. 25 Wisconsin on Friday night by a 30-10 margin followed by a rivalry win on Sunday afternoon over No. 13 Michigan, 26-16. The Buckeyes jumped out to a quick 16-0 lead over the Wolverines  after Nic Bouzakis (125) opened the dual with a pin over Michigan's Diego Sotelo followed by a pair of technical falls by Ben Davino (133) and Jesse Mendez (141). Ohio State's heavyweights in Paddy Gallagher (165), Carson Kharchla (174) and Luke Geog (197) secured the Scarlet and Gray's fourth-consecutive win over Michigan with a pair of decisions and a major decision, respectively.

Head coach Tom Ryan and the Buckeyes will close out their 2026 home slate on Friday night in a top five showdown against No. 5 Iowa. Action against the Hawkeyes will begin at 8 p.m. with the dual broadcast on Big Ten Network. Fewer than 100 tickets remain for Friday's home finale, so don't wait any longer and secure your seat today!
