Senior Night at the Schott Men's Basketball Knocks Off No. 8 Purdue, Hosts Indiana for Senior Night |
Head coach Jake Diebler and the men's basketball team earned a signature win Sunday afternoon knocking off No. 8 Purdue by a score of 82-74. The Buckeyes were led by sophomore guard John Mobley Jr. who recorded a game-high 21 points, knocking down five three-pointers and delivering a team-high three assists while senior guard Bruce Thornton contributed 20 points of his own along with three three-pointers in order to move just 30 points away from becoming Ohio State's all-time leading scorer.
Tonight, the Buckeyes will play their final road game of the regular season as they tip off against Penn State at 7:30 p.m. on Peacock. Following tonight's game, the team will return home for its regular season finale against Indiana on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Saturday's game will feature a pregame senior ceremony and an exclusive Bruce Thornton bobblehead giveaway for the first 2,000 fans. |
