Finishing Strong Track & Field Captures Two Titles at Big Ten Outdoor Championships |
The track and field team wrapped up a strong weekend at the 2026 Big Ten Outdoor Championships in Lincoln, Neb., which was highlighted by a pair of conference titles and several podium finishes. Junior hurdler Braxton Brann continued his breakout season, capturing the Big Ten title in the men’s 110m hurdles with a time of 13.18 before helping the Buckeyes defend their crown in the men’s 4x400m relay alongside Damon Frabotta, Edidiong Udo and Mason Louis.
Ohio State’s men finished fifth overall, their best conference finish since 2022, while the women placed seventh behind standout performances from Janela Spencer, Aniya Mosley and Laila Campbell. Spencer earned runner-up honors in the 100m hurdles, Mosley took third in the 1500m and Campbell added top-four finishes in both the 100m and 200m sprints. Later this month, the Buckeyes will head to Lexington, Ky., as qualifying athletes prepare to compete in the NCAA East Preliminary Round.
