Buckeye Stripe Shines on Ohio State Football Uniform Evolution |
In its continued effort to establish Ohio State football as the premier brand in sports, Ohio State announced updates to the Buckeyes’ historic uniforms for the 2026 season and beyond. The updated uniform system introduces five distinct combinations that balance tradition with modern visual design: Core Home, Core Away, Tunnel Vision, Scarlet Rush and Sub Zero.
Across all combinations, the evolved Buckeye Stripe features metallic silver sleeves developed in collaboration with Nike to match Ohio State’s iconic helmets more closely. The Block O moves to the center of the jersey collar, reinforcing one of the university’s most recognizable symbols. Each jersey also includes a festoon pattern inside the collar, honoring the architecture of Ohio Stadium and reinforcing a uniform identity rooted in tradition and excellence. |
