BUCKEYES ARE DANCING!

Men's Hoops Named No. 8 Seed, Headed to Greenville for First / Second Rounds

The MARCH is on! The Ohio State men's basketball team is dancing as the Buckeyes received the No. 8-seed in the East Region of the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament bracket. The Buckeyes will head to Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C., for a First Round matchup against the No. 9-seed TCU Horned Frogs (22-11) on Thursday, March 19. The winner will advance to the Second Round to take on the winner of a Round of 64 game between No. 1-seed Duke (32-2) and No. 16-seed Siena (23-11). Please Note: Tipoff times and television designations will be announced later today.

Ohio State will be making its 32nd NCAA Tournament appearance and first under second-year head coach Jake Diebler. This will be the Buckeyes' fifth overall meeting against the Horned Frogs with the Scarlet and Gray winning the previous four meetings.
