We took it back to where it all started and spent the day with Bronx natives AJ and Duane, two of Bowery FC’s original members. Starting at Bronx Park, where they first met, we followed them downtown to Chinatown’s Tanahey Field, where Bowery FC still gathers every Sunday. Along the way, they reflected on the friendships, community, and sense of belonging the game has provided throughout their lives. Duane is seen here previewing this year’s Only NY × Bowery FC × Lotto kit, created to celebrate Bowery FC’s 25th anniversary and the fifth year of collaboration between Only NY and the club.
