Coral Gardeners began as a small group of surfers, freedivers, and fishermen in Mo’orea, French Polynesia, who witnessed the rapid decline of their home reef and chose to act. Today, it has grown into a global movement of gardeners, scientists, engineers, and artists united by one mission: to restore coral reefs and revolutionise ocean conservation.

Coral reefs support around 25% of all marine life, yet more than half have been lost in the past 30 years. Without meaningful intervention, up to 90% could disappear by 2050, according to the IPCC and UNEP. To date, 220,000+ corals have been planted across reef systems in French Polynesia, Fiji, and Thailand. An estimated one billion people depend on coral reef ecosystems directly or indirectly.
