Penn Medicine pharmacies are streamlining care through advances in automation, AI, and delivery technology, enabling pharmacists to work directly with patients, doctors, and nurses. “The traditional role of pharmacists has moved beyond dispensing medications," says Chief Pharmacy Officer Nishaminy Kasbekar. "We really touch every patient that walks in the hospital.”
