Phillies News Dec 16, 2025 View Online Adolis García, Phillies finalize one-year deal The Phillies have signed outfielder Adolis García to a one-year contract for the 2026 season. García, a two-time American League All-Star (2021, 2023), played in 135 games last year and combined to slash .227/.271/.394 with 47 extra-base hits (28 2B, 19 HR) and 75 RBI over 547 plate appearances. In 2025, the 32-year-old García played all 1,124 of his innings defensively in right field and ranked tied for third among all major league outfielders with 16 Defensive Runs Saved. Since 2021, García has accrued 15.2 bWAR according to Baseball Reference which ranks 10th among all AL outfielders. In that same span, he ranks second among all AL outfielders in extra-base hits (292) and RBI (458), trailing only Aaron Judge (386 XBH, 562 RBI) in both categories.
