I’m writing to share an update on our Buffing Bar pricing structure.

Starting July 1st:

Fragrance-Free Buffing Bar: $28 → $30
Green Banana Buffing Bar: $33 → $30
Future Buffing Bars: $30 (excluding collaborations)

While Buffing Bar is manufactured within the United States, many of its raw ingredient materials originate abroad and have been impacted by the recent increases in global tariffs—raising the overall cost of production.

With this shift in mind, we’ve decided to simplify our Buffing Bar pricing structure so that all core Buffing Bars will be $30. Historically, fragranced Buffing Bars have been priced higher to account for the added cost of fragrance (ours is produced within the United States, and is therefore exempt from tariff-related cost increases). Now, your choice of Buffing Bar can be purely based on fragrance preference, not price. These pricing updates will be reflected on softservices.com and at Sephora.

You still have through the end of the week to shop Buffing Bar at its current price ($28). If you choose to stock up, we’re also running a heatwave special—all orders through 6/29 receive a complimentary deluxe Speed Soak sample :)
