First and foremost, thank you for joining It Gets Better’s email list and showing that you care about the future and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth. Studies show that LGBTQ+ young people with at least one supportive adult in their lives has a significant impact on their mental well being. Just by joining us, you're showing up in a meaningful way.

As the Senior Development Coordinator for It Gets Better, I get to witness how individual donations greatly affect our capacity to positively change the lives of LGBTQ+ youth. And we’re talking donations big and small.

$25: Make life-saving digital resources available for free download like our youth-created mental health tool imi, inclusive education materials, and pronoun guides.
$50: Fund an original piece of content on social media platforms like Instagram or TikTok, inspiring queer youth worldwide with stories of hope, resilience, and unapologetic joy.
$100: Sponsor an LGBTQ+ young person for one month of leadership training and community building as part of our Youth Voices ambassador program.
$150: Bring two hours of live content to LGBTQ+ youth on Twitch through special, community-building events like our Pride Village stream and Digital Global Summit.
$250: Create lasting change for LGBTQ+ young people in communities nationwide by helping to underwrite a youth-led grant through our program, It Gets Better: Changemakers. Since 2022, we've distributed $1.6 million and funded nearly 200 projects to make things better for LGBTQ+ youth in communities in the United States and Canada.

We know becoming a donor is a commitment. That’s why it’s important to let you know that individual donations sustain our most timely work. They enable us to respond in real time when the news cycle alerts us to an LGBTQ+ young person in crisis. They allow us to create intimate Pride celebrations in the digital space for LGBTQ+ youth who can’t gather with community in person. They help us ensure LGBTQ+ youth are reminded daily that they matter.
