As an Environmental Scientist, protecting our oceans has always been something close to my heart.

When we started Sande, we made a promise that for every order placed, we’d donate $1 to help protect our beaches and oceans through Take 3 for the Sea.

Today, that promise stretches across Australia, the USA, and now Europe. Every order, no matter where it’s placed, contributes to the very same mission.

PLASTIC FREE JULY

This month is Plastic Free July, a global movement inspiring millions of people to reduce single-use plastic through simple, everyday choices.

One of the things I love most about the movement is that it isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making one small change that works for you, and sticking with it. When enough people do the same, those small actions create a real impact.

1. Bring your own shopping bags

2. Carry a reusable coffee cup or drink bottle.

3. Take three (or more!) pieces of rubbish with you whenever you leave the beach, a park, or another natural place.

One of the reasons we partnered with Take 3 for the Sea is because their message is so simple.

Take three pieces of rubbish with you whenever you leave the beach, a park, or a waterway.

It’s a small action, but when thousands of people do it every day, it creates lasting change.

The same goes for choosing a reusable bag, refusing a plastic straw, or supporting businesses trying to do things a little differently.

Every small choice adds up.
