Hi There,
In case you’ve followed the rollercoaster decisions on the US trade policy front, you may have noticed a new 10% tariff introduced on products like ours entering the U.S.
In practical terms, that’s a straight-line cost increase.
In human terms, it’s the sort of thing that usually becomes your problem at checkout.
We decided not to do that.
Instead, we’re automatically reducing prices by 10% at checkout to absorb this new tariff impact.
Why?
Because we spend an inordinate amount of time obsessing over data — fibre micron counts, durability testing, regenerative impact metrics, lifecycle analysis. We like variables we can measure and improve.
Sudden policy add-ons? Less interesting.
We can’t control U.S. tariff decisions. But we can control how we respond.
Sheep Inc. was built on long-term thinking: better raw materials, regenerative New Zealand and Australian pastures, traceable supply chains, products designed to outlast trends (and ideally, trade cycles too). A short-term policy shift doesn’t change that philosophy.
So for now, we’re making tariffs softer.
Thank you, as always, for being part of the Flock.
Warmly,
Edzard & Michael Co-Founders, Sheep Inc.
