I want to get to know you better. Open to it?  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

You're all set. Slides ready. Notes organized.

You click “Share Screen” and launch into your presentation.

“Hi everyone, thanks for joining today's webinar on…”

Then it hits you.

Nothing but black squares staring back. No faces. No nods. No smiles. Just a wall of anonymous rectangles—maybe the occasional initial.

Is anyone even there? Are they checking email? Making lunch? Taking a nap?

You keep going, of course. The show must go on.

“If you look at slide 7, you'll notice…”

Silence

“Any questions about this section?”

Crickets

“Great, moving on then!”

But inside, you are uncomfy. You're throwing your insights into the void, with zero feedback to work with. Zero connection. Zero confirmation that what you're saying matters to anyone.

Friend, if this scenario made you squirm a little…good. That discomfort means you understand exactly what it’s like to write a newsletter.

You broadcast painstakingly crafted messages to faceless crowds without knowing who's actually listening or if you’re helping them.

Unless, of course, you ask.

So before we go any further, I want to know who YOU are. Not in a creepy way—in a “let me actually help you” way.

Fill in the above form, and I promise two things:

  1. I'll thank you personally (as a bit of proof that I really care!!)

  2. Every newsletter you get from me going forward will feel like it was written specifically for your situation

Because that’s what you deserve, and I’m here to deliver.

See you on Tuesday,

—Simon

P.S. If you're thinking, “but I don't want to share that information,” I get it. Privacy matters. Just know that without it, I'm basically hosting a webinar to black squares—and neither of us wants that. Your call though! I'll keep delivering value either way.

P.P.S. I tried finding a comedy sketch covering this topic, and there are none! Who’s volunteering to create it?
