Hey SMD Friends,
I spent this past weekend camping at Cape Lookout State Park on the Oregon Coast. We had one day of clouds and one of sunshine, nothing out of the ordinary for early September in Oregon. I spend most of my free time exploring the mountains and rivers, but this was a great reminder of how unique and amazing our coast can be.

I brought along a few of our Six Moon Designs Packing Pods, and they made organizing everything simple and efficient—clean and dirty clothes, toiletries, chargers, even my Haven Tent setup. I’ve used a lot of packing cubes over the years, but I genuinely prefer these. They’re lightweight, hold more than you'd think, and integrate seamlessly with our ADC packs, and really any pack. Jim Sutherland dives into the ADC more in this week's blog post if you want a closer look.

Back in Beaverton, we’re already shifting into fall mode. It’s a great time to take stock of your setup and make sure you’re ready for the rainy season. Many of our materials are water resistant, including much of our pack fabrics, and if you haven’t tried one yet, our Silver Shadow Umbrellas are excellent for both rain and sun.
More updates coming soon as we head into a new season.
Thanks for being part of the Six Moon Designs community.
