Hi friend -

In lower-income countries, it’s difficult to escape poverty, because long-term work is scarce.

That was certainly true for our friends in Haiti, Jwanise and Ginette.

When we first met Jwanise, her family had just been evicted from their home, and they were living in a structure built of scrap metal and cinder blocks.

Ginette’s family of six had been living in a cramped, makeshift shed since the devastating 2010 earthquake.

But all that has changed because Jwanise and Ginette now own successful small businesses through our entrepreneurship program, 4Opportunity.

Jwanise is now building her own home and can support her family with food, education, and shelter. And Ginette lives in her own place and sends her boys to school!

Hundreds more 4Opportunity entrepreneurs could share their success stories with you!

Here's how 4Opportunity works...

1. People donate their gently used shoes and clothing to Soles4Souls.

2. The apparel becomes inventory for small business owners.

3. The entrepreneurs earn a sustainable income!

4Opportunity is powered by shoe donations from people just like you.
