I want to tell you about something I watched happen in the community over the last three months.
One of our creators launched her AI influencer in March. She had the look dialled in. Great aesthetic. Consistent character. Beautiful outputs. She posted every day for six weeks and hit 340 followers.
She almost quit. Told me in a DM that she felt like the algorithm was ignoring her.
I asked her one question. "What does your account teach someone, solve for someone, or make someone feel?"
She didn't have an answer. That was the whole problem. Her page looked like a portfolio. Gorgeous image after gorgeous image. But there was no reason for a stranger to follow.
Here's exactly what she changed, and what I'd tell any AI influencer creator to do right now.
1. Pick a niche and make it the account's entire personality.
Not "lifestyle." Something specific. Hers was solo travel for women. Every post tied back to it. Travel outfit breakdowns, hotel reviews, packing tips, destination guides. The AI influencer stopped being a face and became a character people followed for a reason.
2. Build 3 to 5 recurring formats and rotate them.
This is the thing that separates accounts that grow from accounts that stall. Recurring series give people a reason to come back. Hers were "outfit of the day" tied to a destination, "pack with me," and "rate this hotel."
3. Captions need to do real work.
The image stops the scroll. The caption earns the follow. A beautiful photo with a two-word caption is a missed opportunity every single time. Write captions that tell a story, share an opinion, give a tip, or ask a question.
4. Post into trends, not just into your feed.
Trending audio. Trending formats. Cultural moments like the World Cup right now. Your AI influencer should be reacting to the same things real creators react to.
5. Engage like a real account.
Reply to every comment. Comment on other accounts in your niche. Use Stories. Run polls. The algorithm doesn't just track what you post it tracks how much activity your account generates.
6. Volume still matters. 5 posts a week minimum.
She was posting daily and that was right. Accounts posting 3 to 5 times a week grow roughly 2x faster. Less than that and the algorithm forgets you exist.
She hit 3,000 followers in seven weeks after making these changes. Same AI influencer. Same visuals. Same posting frequency.
The only difference was that every post now had a reason to exist beyond looking good.
If your account has stalled and the visuals are already strong, the fix is almost never better images. It's better storytelling.
