Over 1,155 units of blood were collected exceeding the drive’s goal. On Monday, June 15th, the Cardinals hosted 19-year-old Charlie, through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to grant his wish of meeting the team. From a game of catch in the bullpen and a ceremonial pitch on the mound, to a personal clubhouse tour with Andre Pallante where Charlie received a custom jersey and team-signed bat at his very own locker, the day was a perfect celebration for beating cancer. Inspired by his own health journey and love of baseball, Charlie now aspires to be an athletic trainer. The Cardinals are proud to assist in making wishes like Charlie’s come true!
